   I would suggest a tad bigger than you measure. But let them walk around the house in it before taking outside! My cat flopped over and just layed there at first. But after coaxing and much patience and maybe a treat or two was ok with it. Remember cats are not used to wearing clothes...lol, so it will take time to adjust. I have to say this is a great harness for cats as it has double security, the jacket itself has Velcro and then there's the snap in buckle. As you know cat's can wriggle out of almost anything. But this is the best harness that I have seen weather for a cat or dog.

I accidently ordered a size too small for my cat (my fault), but because i love it so much I saved it for the next kitten I get, and ordered my dainty 20 year old cat the size S. Fits perfect! This crazy kitty is a skilled escape artist when she wants to be, but there is no way she could wiggle her way out of this one if she had tried - though she didn't try. It fits great, is light weight, and seems to be very comfortable. Would definitely buy this product again. My cat is a hiker and this will work perfectly! I feel very safe taking her out wearing this.

   We were looking for a well-crafted harness and leash to help our 4 month old, 4 pound kitten acclimate to the outdoors and allow her to walk around our backyard and neighborhood. It was really important that the harness be completely secure and escape-proof, have safety reflection, be adjustable, yet comfortable, and (hopefully!) be pocketbook-friendly. We did our research before settling on this model, and to our delight, the product is as advertised. I like the dual security of the black. backpack-like snap-together latch and the double-D rings through which to attach the leash. Velcro and adjustable webbing on both sides of the vest allows you to custom-adjust the fit for your animal. We ordered a XS based on our kitten's then-dimensions, and the vest fits well. Our kitten will actually come to us when we take out her harness, because she loves exploring outdoors. Recommended! We'll be getting a larger vest when she gets older.

   I have a cat part Siamese and part lynx so it's hard to find a harness that fits the big guy. This one does, it holds his power in place too. I've tried it on the other cats. Fat boy can't even fit his front legs in. Monkey is 3/4 the size of my cat and he fit it absolutely perfect with room to spare but not slack. He could breathe without huffing. I recommend this harness for your cat, even if it if for a dog. It also came with a cool little collapsible dog water or food bowl. Very pleased.

   Perfect hold, fit, comfort and it looks so cute on my puppy. I am very happy and feel she is safe when I walk her outside and feel she will remain safely on her leash. And, I love the reflective strips for the night time walks. Added bonus. I am SOOOO happy with this harness and leash set. In my opinion, the only draw back to the set is that I wish the leash were longer, because, she can't walk very far away from me which has it good and bad points. For me though, I would rather it be longer. I highly recommend this harness in and of itself. It alone was well worth the money. Glad I bought it.

   We got this because our cat loves to go on walks but he hates having a harness put around his neck. Getting this on him the first time was still a bit of a struggle but I think it'll get easier and he'll like it more over time. The combination of Velcro, snaps, and a double loop for the leash makes it feel very secure. Whereas he's slipped out of his traditional harness on the past by catching it on the underside of fences, I don't think this would be possible to slip out of. It feels relatively comfy although somewhat cheaply made. He didn't seem at all bothered by it. I like the reflective tape and feel like it makes him look like a little cat hard at work!

   I was having a hard time finding a harness that would fit my tiny little 2.5lb Yorkipoo puppy. I was thrilled to find this one and it fit her perfectly. I can finally take her out for walks. She seems very comfortable when she is wearing it. It has a little stretch when closing the Velcro but not much. It doesn’t hinder her walking at all, she walks great in it & she’s been really enjoying going out for walks now. If you have a tiny little fur baby like mine I totally recommend buying this harness because it’s one of the only companies that actually makes one small enough!

It’s easy to hold her if we need to pick her up quickly and move her to safety. It’s comfortable and easy to put on. It doesn’t have to slip over her head so no bites. As a tiny kitten with the XXS the neck was very wide for her at first; maybe a little disproportional to her chest. Over time, it fit her better. As she grew, we purchased the small and large because we like this harness style the best. She has two other styles; one that slips over the head so she bites and the strappy harness which she does not stay to have put on properly.

   Love this harness... got the bright orange for my cat Tiger. After measuring him, it seemed like he would fit a medium but the medium was just a bit too tight. It was no problem getting a different size and you're better to go up a size anyway because the velcro is pretty large and allows for a lot of adjustability. When I received the product I washed it in soapy water and it dried very quickly just sitting near the heat vent. No color bleeding. I definitely recommend this harness.
