   walking a dog or the dog walking you. i bought this after searching for something that can control my dog. we love her a lot but it is no fun taking her for a walk. this works really well. i am serious. it guides her to where you want her to go. other harnesses attach to the top of the neck no good at all. this gives the dog control. with this harness, it attaches to the front of the chest, walk on either the right or left of dog and keep dog close to your side. read all directions. it does work. she still will pull and get crazy sometimes when she sees another dog but she is more controllable. my dog is a 40 lb American pit bull terrier and this controls her so much better. she is a sweet loving dog. i recommend this harness over all others. does not choke dog.

Constantly pulling and lunging with excitement. Walking her with this lead is like night and day. It clearly has some magic laced into the thread. I can walk her so easily now! No pulling at all!    I can't believe I did not buy this type of harness sooner! I have a 30 pound Australian Shepherd Beagle mix who has a never ending supply of energy. I have never been able to walk her without hating every minute of it because she would pull so hard. The second I put this harness on her she was a totally different dog. I can now walk her without worrying about a squirrel or passing stranger! These do run a little big, I ordered a medium but had to adjust all of the straps to the absolute shortest length.

   This particular brand was recommended to us by a local dog trainer. I've used this for 9 months now (daily use) and it's still in great condition with nothing broken or worn out. It's wide enough to not cut into our good girl's skin, but thin enough to not bind up under her arms. The quality is great (thick straps, durable plastic quick-release), and I'd absolutely recommend to anyone with a dog in the 20-50 lb. range. I have no idea how the larger sizes fit/ function/ etc, so I'm just pointing out that my experience may be different than someone with a larger dog.

   The medium was too small for my 65lb hound mix, but I bought the large and it was a perfect fit. My 2 yr old "pup" would pull on every other method I used to take him for a walk. I used a regular harness, a leash attached to my waist, a choke collar, a bungee-type leash and a few other things. I must have spent over $100 on all the other method (and doctors visits as I hurt my wrist after one pulling episode). The shelter where my pup came from told me about this harness and I purchased it. It was actually amazing. Once I put this one him it was like magic! No more pulling! The harness uses a martingale-type method across the chest. The leash is attached to the front across the chest, so when they pull, it constricts them and they stop. He started to pull and slowed down.

You don't even have to train them to do different. The clasp in the friend pulls them to the side if they try to tug so they readjust their posture. I would highly recommend. It changed both of my dogs walking habits immediately

   Finally she walks like a normal dog! My pup was so difficult to walk as she would constantly pull. She would choke herself and stress me out making walks frustrating. But with this harness, when she tries to pull, it pulls her chest sideways and she doesn’t like it much. She immediately stops pulling. Now, after about two weeks of nightly walks, there isn’t even tension on the leash anymore! I can’t love this enough. I actually enjoy our walks now and would highly recommend this to anyone who has a difficult dog!
