The chain can slide out of her neck if you or the doggie decide to pull is forward and they assist with getting the chain off I ordered the size down from this one and it was tooo small, and this one fits good and allows for a lot of movement but will come off if they do a downward movement to get the chain off. Great touch to add some luxury spice to your well loved babies. Overall,great necklace for dogs that are understanding and are well trained to wear collars.
