I like the weeder. I've been pulling weeds since I was a small child pulling the chickweed that would grow under my parent's greenhouse benches. It's always been the "get on your knees" kind of work. However, I just had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder and found it difficult to get down on my hands and knees, as I was short one hand. This weeder allows me to pull the weeds while standing. It took me a couple minutes or so to get hang of it, but once I did, I found it worked great.

I drag along a bag or small trash can and pop the handle to drop the offending weed and its root into the bag/can for disposal so it doesn't just go to seed and thwart me anyway. Unless you are tall, I am not, this works wonderfully and saves getting down on the ground and digging in the dirt to rip up dandelions root and all.

It works as advertised and can do its job on bigger weeds than advertised nicely. My 10 year old can use it, my wife as well, and so can I.... all with it being easy and withstanding our abuse.
