   When my daughter was younger I took her to a dermatologist who used one of these masks to help treat acne and skin redness. I thought about going to a dermatologist now to have my skin treated. Then one of my friends said she was doing that until she realized she could do it herself at home. The price of the mask is the price of one session in my area so I was immediately saving money. I save money on the appointment and gas. I don’t have acne but I wanted to smooth fine lines and help give my skin a youthful glow. I have a lot of sun damage from when I was younger and used to bake my skin. I like to use it in my self care routine. I like to paint my nails , put my foot exfoliating bags on my feet, then put the mask on. I make sure that I have my eyes covered with the little goggles for safety and just relax. I can already see a difference in my skin condition. I put on a organic facial oil with my jade roller soaked in ice afterwards for extra skin tightening benefits. Afterwards I wipe down the mask and goggles with a little alcohol pad so that germs don’t collect.

   This mask is great! I found the instructions on how it use the controls a bit lackluster but that doesn’t really matter because it’s pretty self explanatory! It comes with two methods to use it, a plugged into the wall version and one that you charge and could walk around with it in your pocket or use it in a place that’s not near an outlet. I included a video that shows how to use both (took me awhile to figure out I had to press the “power switch” button before the on/off button on the big one)...but it’s great you can choose a light level and your light color and the time your treatment lasts (so you don’t need a timer).

   There are several studies that have shown that phototherapy can reduce breakouts. I based my use of this device on this article (doi.org/10.1046/j.1365-2133.2000.03481.x). I do 15 min of the blue light, and then 15 min of red light, daily. Perhaps the purple light mimics this, but it may not. Keep in mind that blue light can also mess with your sleeping patterns, so I recommend doing the blue light treatment in particular earlier in the day (before sun down if possible). The texture and evenness of my skin improved after just 2 uses. After 1 week I have fewer active pimples, but the real test will be after four weeks. So far, great product.

   I have been using the mask almost nightly since I received it. It came in beautiful packaging. Very easy to use. I started on level 5 on the red, blue and white masks. Those are my favorites, however, I am starting to use the green now as well. I have noticed significant lightening of a brown spot I have spent a lot of money on trying to remove. So hopeful that will be completely gone with continued use. I have had some breakouts after using the blue mask but it feels like it is drawing out deep acne and clearing up my couple of trouble areas. Nothing I'm not willing to work through. I had a problem withe the red light and once I contacted the company they sent a replacement mask out right away! Wonderful customer service! I recommend this mask to anyone wanting to tighten up, clear up or just want their skin feeling like its just had a facial every night:)

   Before the pandemic started, my wife usually gone to salon once or twice a month to get her skin treatments, one of the service she gets there is called facial LED light therapy which basically using this face mask after she has treated her skin with some lotions and other solutions, and each of those session usually cost her about $50. Since we didn't really go out for any of those services for last few months, I've looked and got her this mask that only cost about twice of her treatment sessions but she now can get the treatment anytime she wants completely free. She looks up some tutorials and blogs that other people posted on youtube and were able to pretty much do this herself now. It's working just as she was getting the treatment session from those salons and this would help save us a tons of money in the long run. The key for using this effectively is that you will have to use it consistently every days or every few days if you don't have lot of free time and apply appropriate skin care products that works for your skin too.

   Overall I. Really happy with this purchase my complexion has improved in the three treatments I have done so far as the dark spot on my cheek is fading and barely noticeable now. I've also seen some improvement with the fine lines on my face. I haven't really seen any noticeable difference in the lines that run from my nose to my mouth whatever those are called or in my deep scowl line but I'm sure that those will get better with time as well. I will likely continue to just use this at home even when the situation allows me to go back to the spa as it's going to save me alot of money light therapy is really expensive and this seems to work just as well pretty much.

   This thing is for real. This has done more to even out my skin tone and get rid of sunspots in about three weeks than two rounds of expensive lightening creams. I have been using the green for 20 minutes and the red for 20 minutes almost every day, because I’ve got the time right now and I’m kind of fanatical about getting rid of sunspots. My skin has already evened out so much that I only have to use a little bit of concealer on a couple of spots and under my eyes. My skin is also getting visibly plumper looking. I use it on the brightest setting each time I use it. I’m also setting it on top of my hands while I’m doing something like reading a book. It’s working there too. The green color is the one that fades spots, and the red color is the one that plumps up your skin. I cover my eyes under the mask because the light still bothers my eyes even though the mask comes with protection for the eyes. I just listen to the news or a podcast which I would be listening to anyway. It also gives me an excuse to relax. This thing is going to do more good for your skin than any amount of creams. Highly recommend it.
