I've used this a couple of times and it works well! I will say it is a slow process so if you have significant buildup it will take time to remove. But it does work and I appreciate the various tools as they have helped get into tighter places around the gum. I'd recommend this product if you want to clean your pets teeth. I've not tried it on my own teeth, but I see no reason it would now work on them as well.

This worked fairly well, enabling me to remove quite a bit of tartar off my dog's canines and front teeth. She doesn't love the process (I'm with her on that), but she tolerates it - which allows me to spend about 5min at a time doing a cleaning. Once you can remove the heavy spots, it is fairly easy to maintain the teeth (minor touch-ups). I also find the peanut butter flavored toothpaste to work well. She spends time trying to lick the flavor from her teeth/gums, while I get to the molars in back. The long toothbrush helps too.
