I would end up replacing them every month or so due to damage ( I have two kids and a male cat) or because they lost their fluff and gave no support. I tend to sleep on my side but partly on my stomach. An odd position I know. I always end up waking due to shoulder or arm pain or because my ear folded in my sleep and the discomfort woke me. I bought this about two weeks ago and I love it. Much cheaper than others designed for side sleepers but I don't see how it could be better to buy them. It hasn't lost any of its support and I can sleep completely on my side which relieves the shoulder and arm pain. I also feel secure while using it. It almost hugs the back and gives something to wrap my free arm around. This is a good low cost choice for those looking to stop buying the cheap low quality pillows without breaking the bank.
