I tried the Zyppah device that I ordered from radio ads, but that only reduced my snoring intensity and was not comfortable. I constantly spit the Zyppah out in the night. This device, although similar to the Zyppah works much much better! It fits, and it stays in my mouth all night. I cannot believe the difference! It was fascinating to try on for the first time the way that it sticks under your chin, and it stays in place for back sleepers. If you are a front sleeper, it may not stay in place as well, depending how much your chin rubs against your pillow at night. But her back sleepers it does a nice job and side sleepers as well. This is my first review of a product after years of purchasing items on. I have purchased plenty of anti-snoring devices over the past couple years and none have worked. This immediately stopped me from snoring. I have a sleep tracking device and my data the next morning showed a significant improvement in my amount of restful sleep. It works, period. The science behind it is pretty simple. The mouthguard keeps your jaw in a more forward position which keeps your airway from closing while you sleep. I am a bit overweight and have obstructive sleep apnea. I refuse to get a CPAP. Now I don't need one. Sleeping with a mouthguard isn't the most comfortable thing in the world and takes a few nights getting used to. Still far better than being hooked up to a machine. The only other con is that when I wake up it takes my jaw an hour or so to readjust to normal position (because I slept with it in a forward position all night). This was mentioned in the instructions so I knew what to expect. I definitely recommend this for anyone who snores, or has a spouse who snores. Both myself and my wife are very happy now!
