This said, this item will not blow cold air while you are outside when it is 100 degrees outside. It blows hot air. When he goes inside, it blows nice cold air and cools him off faster. He did say that it’s better than nothing even when he’s outside.

   Like a lot of parts of California right now there are heat waves happening. My house gets really warm from the afternoon sun (older home, no AC) and I like to read in bed in the evening and would be miserable sitting there with the sweat running down my neck and chest. On my hair wash nights my flatironed hair would become wet and not end up looking so great in the morning. I love this neck fan so much! I feel comfortable to sit and read and no more wet hair! I find the low setting works fine for me and the sound is quiet enough, like a soft white noise, so it isn't distracting but I do find it a little too loud so close to my ears for movie/TV watching. Fine with headphones on while on the internet. I have used it every evening since I received it and still have not had to charge it and it also looks and feels well made.

   I work in a kitchen that has no air conditioning right now. So it gets extremely hot. This neck fan is amazing. It was my first day wearing it today and most of the time I didn’t feel the weight of it on my neck and I didn’t hear the noise of the fan. For the battery life I work a 8 hour shift, I turned it off during my break and when I was away from the kitchen. So it lasted to the very end. But I did charge it overnight and I did use different settings through out my shift. So it will vary depending on what setting a person will use it on through out the day. But so far I love this product.

   I have used this for less than one week and cannot speak for its longevity, but this is so light and comfortable that I often forget it's on my neck until the next hot flash, then it's convenient, effective, and quiet enough (even on high) to not disturb others in the room.    I received this item last week and it arrived quickly. I charged it immediately out of the box according to instructions. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I've been using it constantly and carry it with me in my purse due to how compact it is. The fan looks like it's a set of streamlined headphones. There are 3 settings, the airflow is consistent and strong. When I'm at home or walking to work, my sunscreen and facial products will run into my eyes because of sweat. The fan is so lightweight I can wear it inside and outside. I finally can arrive to work without my face and neck being all sweaty. This unit does emit a sound as a fan does; you may want to turn it off when talking to people to be polite. However, it isn't overbearingly loud. I highly recommend it.
