Few button controls are well placed and easy to use - LCD display makes it easier to understand how you are adjusting the unit without taking your eye off the viewer. Can easily zoom to 100, 200, 300 yards with the 3 x optical and 6 x digital zoom. Night vision is really clear - just like day viewing albeit in black and white. Like any spotting scope, the slightest movement can bounce you around and away from your target but the unit has a tripod mount to help you here if needed. I would highly recommend this product if you have want to get some night vision capability.

Rugged construction for using outdoors in wet conditions and is completely rubberized to help prevent damage to unit if dropped. Best to use lithium batteries for longer life, but with it using AA batteries it is economical to use versus C123 batteries. Good product to use for homeowner to check area around house or in buildings without lights, security services or law enforcement. I like the ability to take a single photo or video.

Using the infrared when there is no moon and it's pitch black is like turning on a flood light. The 6X 50mm optics are easy to adjust and focus. Whether objects are a few feet away or 100 yards out. The digital zoom is feature is great for making fine adjustments! I also like the fact that you are able to take stills an video as an option. All though you will need to buy a micro SD for that. Great for spotting the wild life in the woods or trees at night!
