I'm using an iPhone 5, and I suspect the whole experience would be better with a larger screen phone. I still get the nifty 3D effect, however the phone bracket is noticeable in my field of vision.

   I bought this for my son, and oh my god does he love it! He's been wanting one for a long time since all his friends have one of their own. It works better than expected for the price. This VR headset was already at a great price point but I had a $10 off coupon, I was able to buy it at a even lower price. It's easy to figure out how to use and the straps stretch and are comfortable. You can fit any phone that is less than 9ish inches in the box. The image quality is decent and my kids have had a blast trying out all the different kinds of VR games! I also have a drone that connects to a VR, so the kids have also loved exploring the city from an aerial standpoint.

   This is my first pair of VR headset. I got it to use with my Pixel XL (yes, 1st generation). As all the other name brand headsets are extremely expensive, I was surprised to find this headset at this price. I have compared the specs for a lot of the other headsets and have finally settled on this one. The main factor is that it is the lightest of all the ones I have been looking for. My thinking is that if it is to stay on your head for a long time, it better be light enough to not strain your neck.

   I found some videos on YouTube and it took me a while to realize that I had to actually follow the scene with my head, ie physically looking side to side and up and down. Once I got the hang of it, it's actually pretty cool! I took a ride on a roller coaster, and got to virtually visit with some lions. I have downloaded an app that splits the screen on videos so I think I'll try it on some old black and whites and see what that is like. The best videos I have found so far are for meditation/relaxation. Some really lovely scenes and videos. I expect I will use these the most to watch those sorts of videos.
