This vest is one of the best investments. The buckles, are so heavy duty and aren’t the the plastic snaps. My Shepherd loves this thing compared to his old one. When his vest goes on he knows it’s time to work! To adjust it, you have to take it off which I like because most of the other ones, if they tug hard enough it will loosen it. Not this one. And I highly recommend getting the leash that they recommend getting with it!

I made that choice based on his age and the fact that he’s not fully done growing. I don’t know his weight as he hasn’t been to the Vet in a few months, I would guess him at 80 pounds! I may purchase the large for him to use for now until he fills out more because he’s still pulling pretty hard on walks, the tighter fitting one might prevent the pulling.

I saw this and hooked me- the rugged design, molle panels for pouches (poop bags, gloves, water). I bought the medium size for my 45lb dog and had to tighten it almost all the way but it fits and she seems comfortable in it. This thing is a lifesaver. I bought this for my German Shepherd who, although amazing in almost every way, has been a nightmare to walk since we got him. He's 2 now and while walking him the other day with just his collar, I was ready to lose my mind. My fingers looked like sausages after he was done choking himself the whole 3 miles. So I ordered this, threw it on for about a mile walk today, and within 3 or 4 hard pulls it was reduced to light nudges. I was so impressed that I had my sister bring her dog over for another walk (my dog goes even more nuts when he's around). That walk didn't go quite as smooth, but I am still over the moon impressed at the difference just one day with it has made. Combining this with training, I'm extremely confident I can get him to a point where he's a joy to walk even with other dogs around, and I never thought I'd utter those words.
