I just go in the app and create a new instrument and give it the tuning I want. Then...it's just does it. Like freaking magic. Is it accurate? Ya, it is. I tested against a direct input into Logic Pro which I consider about as accurate as you are going to get. And if you can hear the difference in that, then I don't believe you.

It happened again about a year and a half later and I bought the 3. It's much more user friendly, easier to hold on to, and seems more durable. Had it about a month now and I love it. Well worth the money.

Well I was sceptical as to a automatic guitar tuner but let me tell you folks this thing is great. Before I bought it the firmware patch to lower and raise to tune was released and I can tell you this thing works as advertised. I have quite a few guitars and it works on all of the from a seagull s6 to a lag hyvibe end even my Lava Me 2. I repeated the procedure for my 12 string with the same result. I highly recommend the Roadie 3 if you want/need a super accurate and fast tuner that actually tunes instruments for you.

Be sure that this works perfectly on any six-string and string guitar, but it really won my heart when I tried it on a mandolin and a banjo. Both of those instruments are a pain to tune, and I never got them tuned perfectly. I can get my banjo to what feels like an accurate tuning when I play it. And keeping them tuned takes a matter of seconds.So I was very hesitant to try the Roadie 3. I'm so delighted with it that I wanted to get my experience online for anybody else who is considering it -- it's worth every penny. This is not a paid endorsement and I didn't get anything for free. Just a very happy purchase.

I was lucky enough to get in on the kickstarter campaign. It was a gift for my husband and I had no idea how amazing it was at the time since I do not play guitar. He was floored. He has lots of "toys" and plays a lot of songs with alternate tunings and he kept saying that it was wonderful tool and how he loved playing guitar even more now. Unless you have perfect pitch (and how many of us do?) tuning has always been, at best, imprecise. I have found that digital tuners were not quite accurate enough and the guitar never quite sounded perfectly in tune. solves that by quickly tuning the strings to the desired tuning, precisely to the accurate pitch. It is particularly helpful when moving the capo to a different fret which causes the guitar to go slightly out of tune, the Roadie makes a quick correction back into pitch. It is also fantastic in allowing experimentation with alternate tunings and allows saving newly created tunings for future use. Before I had a Roadie 3, tuning a 12-String guitar was an exercise in pure frustration, it was never quite right. But now, tuning my 12-string is as easy as tuning a 6-string and just as accurate. I highly recommend and have given it as a gift to several of my guitar-playing friends.

I was a little bit skeptical at first, but when I tried the product, it was the fastest tuneup I've ever done in my life, new strings on my Ibanez with Floyd Rose bridge, usually takes half an hour or 20 minutes. This was done under five minutes. I really recommend it.
