WORKS AWESOME!! He actually gets excited when I put the collar on him after dinner (since thats the time of night he does this) so he doesn't fear the actual collar its self. One press of the "beep" sound when he barks he instantly stops & comes to sit by me. Luckily it only takes one time for us & the rest of the night he's fine. In fact I don't even use it all the time, only occasionally. And for what ever reason the he doesn't react much to the vibration of the collar. He notices it , but the "beep" sound works instantly.

I tried one of the other vibrating collars and it was almost painful, sent it back. I put the vibrator on my wrist and then against my own neck to see how powerful it was. We have an older Boxer who has lost most of his hearing and no longer comes when called. Love this collar! Set on low or high it causes no distress and the tone it has actually is pretty high in volume. It is a good weight and you can use any collar; but, it does come with one. We have thought about getting another one for our smaller dog who likes to bark late at night thanks to a neighborhood opossum. It would distract him but not frighten him too much. After giving our Boxer a treat 3-4 times after we vibrated/tone he now comes running every time we push the buttons.

This is absolutely perfect! I tried a shock collar first but even at the lowest setting the "shock" was just too intense - I never used it on my dog, just tested it on my hand and refused to use it to train my dog. I just used the vibration and beep part of the collar but then got nervous I/someone could accidentally shock her so I found this collar which doesn't have the shock and it's exactly what I need! My dog listens with just the beep (beeps twice) and then I can use the vibration if she is getting out of control. I like that you can change the intensity of the vibration though I didn't really notice a huge difference from 1 to 10. The beep sound cannot be adjusted. I also like that there is a button for both beep and vibration. You can connect two collars to one remote though I only have one collar. The collar is completely separate from the device so in theory you can use others collars as long as the fit through the device. The remote is much smaller than I was expecting. The last one I had was so huge and awkward to take with me places. This one is really small and has a lanyard you can attach/detach which is SOOOO incredibly convenient! The background light on the remote times out of its not being used, good for saving battery life, but the first time I noticed I was worried I had to turn it back on so I pressed a random button (no on/off button) and it beeped my dogs collar immediately - oops! So it just goes to sleep and you don't have to "wake it up" you can just press a button when you need it and it will work immediately. I wish there Sasaki off/on button or a lock button so I don't accidentally beep/vibrate her when I'm just trying to hold the remote or get it off the table or out of a pocket. This collar causes NO HARM whatsoever which is my I like it so much better than a shock collar. (FYI I am not against shock collars if used properly and in the right settings, but my dog just isn't in need of something quite so aggressive as she listens most of the time just less so when she gets excited)
