I was worried it wouldn’t fit my larger cat, white Siamese, who happens to be a chunkster, 18lbs, but she fit, though it’s close but big enough for her to turn herself around which is good, I’m only really gonna use it for vet appointments and such. But it’s also great for my smaller grey cat who easily fits since she is only about 6 months and maybe less that 4lbs. So Pretty versatile for all weights and sizes in my opinion. Very comfortable to wear as well and the straps are adjustable, would recommend.

But I wouldn't leave my cat for too long in the backpack when it's really hot outside not enough air flow for the cat to feel breeze based on the holes in the front and sides. I can see him breathing fast until I have to let him out to cool down. I mean it's good for going to near places just to visit someone nearby. I do like the fabric is very comfortable around my shoulders doesn't feel heavy when carrying my cat on my back. Which is a plus for me. My cat is around 10-12 lbs I believe he can lay down and sit with no problem.

Really cute for the cat, it's a well made backpack and a great alternative to the cat carrier when you have to take them to the vet. Light weight and feels solid/well made. You will get tons of compliments for it. Cat carriers are ugly and look like a mini jail cell. I have found a grand total of 0 cats that like the carrier but the cats DO like this backpack. I recommend unzipping the sides and leaving it on the floor for a week or so and letting your cat go freely in and out. Really made my cat unafraid of it !

I bought the backpack because my kitten is an indoor cat but loves looking outside. I wanted him to be able to experience more of the world, and the clear bubble provides great visibility. I can’t believe I actually bought this silly thing. But it’s so awesome. My cat loves to join me and my pup on our nature walks now! I leave the little side door zipper open so he can stick his head out. He’s a smaller cat and barely has room to turn around, I would not get this bag if you have a large cat. It was pretty easy to clean also. The side that rests on your back is stiff but didn’t cause a rash or anything, at least for me. Love this cat backpack! Seriously awesome! I have a 13 pound cat so I was a little concerned she may not fit in this well but she fits fine and has plenty of room overhead and around her body. The bottom is quite sturdy as well, I’m not sure why other people have said it’s flimsy mine is not! The bottom is stiff and holds it’s shape perfectly well. The smell at first is RANK but I left mine out on my patio for a few days and it’s mostly gone except for a faint trace. A few more days of airing out should do the trick. And yes, having to peel off the plastic is annoying but I’d rather have a pristine carrier than no plastic and scratches straight out of the box. I grabbed a pair of tweezers and got the remnants of plastic out of the crevices and it wasn’t too difficult. It distributes her weight far better than a crate or side “bag” style carrier. Planning to use this for a flight soon. Overall I love it! It’s incredibly cool looking and my cat actually seems to like it! That’s a first for her because she usually hates carriers, so it must be the visibility.
