   I ordered this for my senior, blind chi-mix. As she is recently blind and remembers the space; she was still having collisions and getting disoriented. She's had the halo for a couple weeks and it's working great. She seems to not mind wearing it and has it on when we are hanging out at home/working at home. I don't have to watch her like a hawk and her head is safe. She was always mobile but I see her exploring with more confidence now

   I ordered a size small for my blind 25lb pug and it is the perfect size. Some people have said the halo is too big, but for my dog it seems to be just right. It was actually lighter than I expected and my dog Prince is adjusting to it rapidly. He walks with his head tilted down a bit, and with no snout like most dogs, his eyes are the first thing to hit the interior walls/outside stucco. Now with this halo, it is preventing facial injuries, and for that I am very grateful.

   I've had my 10-year-old rescued puppy for almost a year and just recently she started running into the wall and bumping her head. She's actually the fourth vision impaired rescued dog I had, but she was less cautious with her movements. Fortunately, her eye doctor recommended the halo and it has changed her life drastically. It's not perfect. I had to order an ex-small because her head is very small. Therefore, I had to add some fabric to the band that goes around her body. But it was worth it. It only took her a few days to become use to it and to learn how to use it as a guide. I do have to readjust it a lot while she is wearing it, but it is worth it. She no longer bangs her head against obstacles, and I no longer live in dread that she will injure herself. Which is why I'm ordering a second one for her. My baby girl will have two halos to keep her safe.

   I bought this for my 17 yo dachshund, which has turned blind and deaf. She already had marks on her head from hitting it against walls and furniture, even when she knew her way around the house. I was desperate until I found this. It's just perfect! It took her one day to get adapted and now we are all happy. She sleeps comfortably in it and is more confident to walk around the house.    She wears it for several hours a day, has napped in it but I remove it for sleep, chilling on the couch, walks etc. I ordered a small as she is about 13lbs height/weight proportionate. It looks like it can fit a larger dog but is a comfortable, not-too-tight fit on her. There is a lot of extra strap (which I will cut or use some velcro on) and the adjustable halo is on the first notch. It seems made decently and we haven't had any issues with construction but my dog is low temperament. It's a nice option besides her playpen/couch/bed which all have their own cons. It will also be good for travel.

   My little weenie dog went blind almost 3 years ago. I looked at these back then but the prices were much higher and she's really hit or miss with her willingness to wear things and being willing to move if I put something on her so I didn't buy it. She has definitely slowed down in the years that she's been blind but to some extent she still goes through life like a crash test dummy. Whether it's injury from running into things or degenerative discs her neck was causing her a lot of pain. The medication that the vet prescribed has gotten the pain under control but I ordered this to prevent further injury. I put it on her and away she went with no issues or any learning curve at all.

   This is a great halo for a great price! My 14 year old pug-uahuah just recently became blind and in an effort to help her adjust, I purchased this halo for her. She's 10 lbs and I purchased a size small which fits her just fine. I probably could've purchased an XS since the straps that wrap around her chest and body were very long. I adjusted the straps / clips to her size then cut the excess straps which were dragging as she walked. The hoop is really large but it does the trick. I'm just happy there are products like these that can help our little fur babies adjust.

   If you have a blind pup like me, this was really helpful. My shih tzu is about 19lbs and fit in a small. After just the first night I could tell he learned how to use it and started to rely on it pretty quickly. He does get stuck sometimes if it gets hooked on something but he's also not the smartest in terms on problem solving lol so I have to come help him get unstuck. He can nap in it but I usually take it off at night so he can lay on his side. He bounces off things all the time with this halo on but it's better than running into things with his face. This also worked much better than a cone because the cone would always hit the floor if he lowered his head.
