The light doesn't stay on very long (maybe 30 seconds) but the light is bright, comes on quickly, and they have never failed (unlike more expensive solar lights I bought). Highly recommended.

I went back and forth on getting these solar powered lights or properly installing motion sensor lights. We live in a wooded lot and if we are out all day and and come home after dark it's reeelly dark. Getting our kids out of car in the dark is another level of insecurity - raccoons, coyotes, robbers (ha!). We bought these to and put them all around the house and set to motion light only so we can see our surroundings better. I used mounting tape instead of screws and made the install super easy.

These are great outdoor lights. I used them near my front door so when someone comes near door then it can have a good amount of lights. I also used few in backyard as well near the trees which help to keep the backyard light up little bit. This have 3 modes and it have enough battery which helps light goes well it morning. I am using this from last 6 months now and these are great. In front gate I am using it in motion sensor mode which will only turn ON when it detects motion, So its good when guest comes or we go out in night. While in backyard ones I used the other mode which is dim light always ON and it will automatically goes into bright light as it detects motion and after few seconds it will goes back to dim light always ON. I installed that backyard one at my tree where I want some light rather having too dark spot.

These lights were extraordinarily easy to install - we put one on either side of the coop - and the setting change instructions were legible and easy to follow. The light is BRIGHT when it goes off, and it has worked numerous times over the past 15 months; we can see the coop from the living room, and when it goes on I run out there and make sure the potential predator is scared off! Also, the coop gets partial shade from a number of trees in our backyard, but even the light that's facing the trees gets charged enough to work all the time. Highly recommend!

These set of four lights arrived this afternoon, I haven't yet installed them. Mounting screws were supplied, two per light and it will be a snap to mount them. The back has a recessed area with a mode switch, more on that later. There are five small screws on the back holding the back to the main panel. You can remove the screws to get to the 18650 rechargeable battery to replace it if you need to in the future (one of the main reasons I chose this set of motion lights). The battery, motion sensor and circuit board are weather protected by a weather seal when the back is on.

These work very well, but you have to find the right spot so they'll charge up during the day. They're better than products you see advertised on TV. They also have three intensity setting, which are accessible on the backside of the light. You have to test the intensity settings in the dark. Once these are installed, there is no easy way to access the settings. I used velcro to attach one light to a bay window, so I can tear it off of the window if I want to change the setting. The other was attached to a wooden gate using wood screws, so no way to easily change the setting except by removing it from the gate first.

This is the second set I bought, and I just bought a 3rd set. Forget your phone or a battery flashlight, I just use one of these that have not been attached to the house. They are super bright. These outdoor solar motion lights have been amazing so far! They were super easy to install, are very bright and have three different modes for whatever your needs may be. We use the third mode, which only activates the light for 15 seconds when motion is detected. Our backyard is extremely dark, so these lights have made taking the dog out at night an illuminating experience! We have had no issues with battery life so far and hope they can withstand our harsh winter temps.

One is above the back door, and the others are in the dog yard. I attached them to the fence about 4 ft up from the ground. I'm surrounded with woods and its really dark here. When I let the dogs out ,the light over the door lights up the deck, the other ones light as the dogs walk around. I can see them just fine. I did charge them on the deck in the sun for 3 days, before I even turned them on. Worked great. I do keep the top wiped off from degree from rain. And they work fine, no problems. I honestly think that charging them up real good before you turn them on is the key.
