As usual, the issues with vinyl is that it's hard to center, the stickers don't stick well, especially around the cupholders, and that they eventually bubble up. This ABS plastic had none of those issues. It fit like a glove and made it look like it's actually a part of the car. No gaps or anything. And because it's plastic, you no longer have to worry about deforming the cover.

We put one in our Model Y and our 3 and its remarkable how long it now takes for the console to look dirty. Remarkable on how well it fits and looks totally stock. Just make sure its totally square before really compressing the double stick tape. Its very easy to pick up and recenter if you haven't applied any pressure when setting in place for the first time. The middle piece is the one that if you place to close to the cup holder section could catch and prevent from opening, so make sure you open the lid before putting seating pressure on the double sided tape.
