The reason some people can’t get this to work a 2nd time is PRINTED RIGHT ON THE BOX! It will oxidize if left open too long, or if exposed to sunlight. I used mine for the time back in January. I did one eye from start to finish before I started the 2nd eye. I opened the perm solution, dipped my cotton swab in, and immediately replaced the stopper and the cap before I put it on my lashes. Same thing with the fixation solution. I just did my second round today, and it worked just as well as the first time. I store the kit in the original packaging (including the padded brown envelope it was mailed in) in a drawer so it’s not exposed to light. No oxidizing whatsoever. My only issue is figuring out which pad to use. Both rounds I did this, I got one eye perfect and another one that was too curled. Trial and error, I’ll figure it out. My first round, the results lasted about 3 weeks, maybe a bit longer. It takes me about an hour to do both eyes (again, one at a time). If I was faster, I’d be doing this every 3rd week because I love the results!

I love this kit. I'm cursed with very short, very straight eyelashes. I'm also allergic to every eye makeup out there so i was looking for some way to at least make my lashes more noticeable since i couldn't use mascara. This kit was totally the answer. It's fairly easy to use -probably more so if your lashes have some length & curl to them already. It took me a couple times at first (spaced a few days apart) to get my stubborn lashes to properly curl & as long as i do it monthly they stay without having to do it twice again (yes my lashes are that stubborn). I've noticed no ill effects from doing them twice like that other than a little dryness, but nothing that a little daily oil for a week or so doesn't fix. I love this kit & it definitely saves me money from not having to get them professionally done.

I have thin straight lashes that will never hold a curl. I used a generous amount, and focused on the root of the hair. I used the glue that came with the kit. I did not struggle to take the pad off of my lid, but I did struggle a little trying to get the glue residue off of my lashes. I used a little vasaline to help take the rest of the glue off, and that worked great.

I ordered this product after reading reviews for many different eyelash perm kits. The process was a bit difficult in terms of glueing the lashes up onto the pad. Mine were stubborn and come lifting off. I found it helpful to hold them up with the plastic tool for about 30 seconds until they dried. Then, I let them dry for a few minutes and applied another coat. Although the act of perming them was long, the results were worth it. My eyelashes looked long and curled. I waited a little over 24 hours to get them wet. I was nervous my first shower would ruin the results but the curl lasted so long. I would say almost 3 weeks total. Definently worth it when compared to salon prices. The second time I used the kit the effects were less drastic. As others have said, the solution becomes oxidized once opened and does not work as well the second time. I will keep that in mind for my next purchase. I thought I could perm myself and a couple friends the first time I open it before it loses effectiveness.
