As soon as I got it out of the box, I noticed how narrow the opening at the top was and when you connect the accessories like the hose or the brush nozzle, the opening becomes even more narrow. This vacuum was clearly built to clean up things like spilled cereal or even a little bit of grass clippings off your shoes but this is NOT going to deep clean your car by any means. Not only is this thing small, it just doesn't have the suction power of a deep clean vacuum. This thing's got enough power to help out with most parents' or pet owner's needs. I'm really happy!

It is compact with everything I need to reach all the crevices. We do not have pets so I don't have to deal with hair. I find that this has enough suction for most of my needs without having to run the engine. I was concerned about that because of the waste of energy. It better suction than the NiCad battery rechargeable vacs of years ago. I don't know about today's vacs but I prefer to leave it in the car rather than bring it home to recharge.
