I didn't want to spend any more money than necessary, but there's no way that I was going to go super cheap and risk damaging two new iPhone 8's. Both of our phones cases and we have no problems with charging. Charging times seem reasonable. I don't really pay attention since whichever phone is on the charger stays there overnight. However, on the few occasions I've used the charger during the day, it seemed like it worked quickly enough and recharge the phone quickly enough.

Absolutely love this case...I haven't found another case that provides the ability to mount to a magnetic mount as well as Qi Charging capability. Not as grippy as some magnetic mounts I've used, but I've not so much that I've ever had troubles with it staying on the mount. The fact that the metal plate in the case is at the top actually is a bonus for me as my phone no longer blocks the air vent in my truck. Highly recommended.
