   My shower had been clogged for a couple weeks and we had used one of those cheap ones you can buy at the grocery store to no avail! I was tired of the standing water so I thought I'd give this a try before calling a plumber and boy o boy! It was the nastiest most satisfying thing to do. My drain has been working like a charm. It was the nastiest thing trying to take off all the gunk but to have a working drain, I'll do it all over again.

   This little gadget is pretty easy to use. it took some maneuvering around for a while - probably about 15 minutes but my husband found the clog and then did it a second time and got more gunk. It was clear. Feeling really happy about spending such a little amount to unclog a deep blockage. Btw, we couldn't get it through the drain so took off the piece above it so the tub doesn't overflow and entered from there. Good luck!

I tried baking soda and vinegar, plunging the clog, boiling hot water, dawn soap, and it would alleviate clog, but not completely. This was the perfect solution, and I should have done this first!    Simple and basic tool to clean out the clogged pipes. It can be pushed in all it's length. Only don't let the end go in. You will have to pull-push the cable numerous times to flush out the fat gunk clogged in the pipe. Longer time the better. It is a mini workout I must say. My kitchen sink pipe is finally clean and water is flowing with no clogging anymore. The gloves are nice too and was helpful with handling the dirty gunk stuck on the cable. Satisfied with the auger

   I was sceptical but wanted to give it a try before using chemicals or calling a plumber. It worked like a charm on the first try. Went down about 5 feet before catching a ball of hair and other things I don't want to describe here. Note that you need to untighten the screw and let it out a bit at a time, tighten the screw and spin it with the handle and when it goes down some more, untighten the screw and let out some more and repeat.

I was tired of waisting money on caustic chemicals or having to call in a plumber. The last time a plumber was here, he used one of these drain augers and it looked pretty simple to use. I have absolutely no plumbing experience, but I watched everything he did and asked questions. I figured I'd give it a try since it had free returns and the price was great. I'm glad I did, because this is super easy to use and it does a great job.
