Love the lamp set. They look upscale, give off great light and having the usb charging outlet on the lamp next to the bed is So Convenient. Assembling the lamp shade looked more complex and challenging at first, as I'm not that crafty, but it was actually quite easy. You just had to velcro the shade to the structure rings. Just make sure for the top to have the spokes arching down (I put it on upside down my first try & had to do it again correctly). I'm really happy with the lamps and would recommend them.
