I ordered this device for my husband who has lost most of his hearing. He needed to have the television volume in the 60 to 70 range or use his Wireless TV ears to watch television . We are traveling to visit our grandchildren and I felt so badly that he wouldn't be able to hear them. I came across this hearing device and decided I had very little to lose if I ordered this for him. My order came in two days. The moment that he placed it in his ear he could hear me speaking from another room and he was hearing the television at the 32 volume level, which was comfortable for me too. We saved $1695, the cost of two ear hearing aids from Costco! I am excited to avoid the frustration of having to repeat myself, and he is happy to not have to ask me to repeat myself. August 11 was our 44th anniversary. Today is the 12th and this device is a "never too late" anniversary gift. We would definitely recommend this device to anyone looking for a hearing device.

I highly recommend this. It has been over a month since I ordered this device and I am still very pleased with how it is working. I am 62 years young and my hearing is not all that bad except in certain auditory ranges. Still, I was getting tired of the constant: "What?" "Excuse me?" "Pardon me?" and "Huh?" - especially around home and at my office. I was looking at getting a hearing test with the intent of buying aids for thousands of dollars. You can get a lot of these things for the price of one hearing aid. My mother and numerous others I have spoken with were not all that happy with their hearing aid experience. So I took a chance, followed the suggestion of a friend, and got this instead. It is truly wonderful. As some reviewers have said, the draw back is that it amplifies EVERY thing, so I do not use it constantly. Around my home I was disappointed that it amplified the fan overhead and the air vent noise really well -- but when you are trying to hear someone talking that really gets in the way.

Excellent hearing aid. This is a great device I can change ears if I want to....m I do get tired of having it in the same ear all the time. I like just having one hearing aid. There's a strong battery and the battery locks well it's not easy to accidentally lose a battery. The on off switch I use everyday.... turn it off when I'm not using it..... the volume button it's easy to feel without taking it out of your ear .Up is louder down is quieter and there's a mode adjustment for the different kinds of background noise we could be in. B this is well worth the price honestly I'm happier with this hearing aid than the tiny $500 one that I lost! ....

I have opticon hearing aids for both ears, my right ear is the worst ... and I love my hearing aids ... all $5000 worth of my hearing aids .... but I like to fall asleep watching TV and there is NO WAY i am putting my hearing aids at risk. I purchased one Britzgo BHA-220 digital amplifier (note,,,, the name says it all) and I wear it in my right ear when I am hanging out on the bed watching tv. I paid $59 for the digital amplifier and it does what it's name implies, ... it amplifies sounds. It works perfectly for me for watching tv in the bedroom or when I want to listen to something but I am not in the mood to wear my oticons ... or if I am doing a chore that causes me to worry that I might lose or damage a hearing aid. I actually used a tiny zip tie and a broken glasses leash to make a safety line for it so I can retrieve it if I fall asleep and it comes out of my ear in the bed (which it has not done in the six months I have been using it). Batteries can have a short life but I have found that turning off the amplifier and unsnapping the battery hatch when I put it back in its case seems to extend the life of the battery.

I purchased one of these for my 82 year old mother. Her hearing aids were lost during a stay in a hospital one year ago. I tried three different hearing aids and her hearing had been terrible. I purchased this one as one last hope to avoid spending lots of money for new hearing aids. Her original hearing aids didn't help her much and I was reluctant to spend so much on such small hope. This Britzgo Hearing Amplifier has been like a miracle. Mom hears better than she has for a long time... and this is with just one hearing aid. The fact that the hearing amplifier is digital allows for extremely long battery life, making it better than a rechargeable. I finally changed the first battery after almost 2 months just because I felt it was time and I didn't want the battery to quit when I was not around to change it. I can only guess the digital technology accounts for the wonderful performance. I was at the end of my rope when I ordered this, but since it arrived, I have had some of my best conversations with my mother in the last 3 to 4 years. I am very satisfied with this product.

I am not quite ready for hearing aids yet but I did need something to make watching a movie or tv more enjoyable. I read all the reviews for this amplifier and decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did. It makes the words so much more clearer to me now. It does not sound like I have cotton in my ears anymore when watching tv. I can hear what they are saying very clearly now. No more asking ' what did they say"? to my hubby. I don't have it on the highest setting either. You can adjust it to your personal preferences. I am not sure how long the battery lasts, it says about 500 hours if you make sure to shut it off after you are finished using it. This amazing little apparatus has made all the difference in the world for me. Since I only watch tv for a couple hours at the most in the evening I imagine this battery should last me quite awhile. It did come with 2 batteries as well a 3 different sizes of the ear bud. I highly recommend this item.
