   My wife had a pair of $1500/each digital hearing aids that squealed when using the phone. When they broke for the last time after the extended warranty ended and the estimate for repair was close to $1000, she gave up on them. I saw these online and ordered them for her. Wow! After we got them turned down enough, she could hear me speaking at a normal level for the first time in years! The TV is no longer booming so the neighbor's dog howled. Best of all, she can use the phone with them in and on! Wow! She can hear again and I got my peace and quite back. No more yelling to be heard! Thank you.

   This is unbelievable!. I can hear again! This fit the bill perfectly. I have a 50-60%hearing loss in my left ear and can't really afford the crazy cost of a hearing aid. I bought this on a whim not expecting much more than one of those "As seen on TV things" What a pleasant surprise this is the real deal and works fantastic! I honestly didn't realize how much sound I had been missing. It was a little frightening at first lol ( kept asking my girlfriend "what was that?" as opposed to the usual "What did you say?" Not to mention it's cool looking like a small blue tooth headset when visible. If you are looking for a boost in sound look no further this is no toy and worth every penny and then some. The only downside I found was that now I know how thin my apartment walls are! Lol

   I've been suffering with hearing loss for probably 3 or 4 years due to my occupation as a machinist. My wife has had to get to the place where she was having to shout all the time trying to make me hear. This amazing hearing aid came in the mail today. It gave me the trebles that I no longer could hear. Instead of hearing mumbled basses I could hear voices clearly was able to turn the TV down so that it didn't drive everybody crazy because it was so loud. I highly recommend this hearing aid it's a inexpensive way to find out what it can do for your life. If they can make a cell phone for $100 why should you have to pay $1,000 for hearing aid. As far as it being on the outside of your ear and you might not like the looks of it get over it you're getting old and you don't look so hot anyways. I go fishing a lot if I drop it in the river I only lost $57 and I can go buy another one. All I can tell you is this thing is fantastic I can hear good again I'm totally amazed.

   This little amplifier, although generic fit, works really good! When I wear it to doctors offices or around the kids with their deep quiet voices I can hear really good! Even better than my mother wirh her 5000$ hearing aids. I mentioned that to her Hearing Aid provider and they said"well you know, thats really not good for your hearing since it amplifies everything". I know but...1. Its affordable, it works for what I need it for, it doesnt work in big loud settings and thats ok, and no I don't wear it all the time, only when I need to hear what someone is saying without going What? What? I can't hear you. And I paid under 60 freaking dollars!!!

   This is the second hearing amplifier of this style I have used. I find this one superior in many ways. The universal ear feature, fits either ear. is great and eliminates the need to search out the proper unit to fit the ear. The power switch is far superior to the open battery compartment. Because of their size , the same on all amplifiers, the controls , volume and tone are easy to use but I recommend the user spend some time using them against a constant sound to become familiar with their range. I found running water from a sink tap provides a constant sound.Finally to date, I found that the hearing amplifier is sturdy and well built and can handle a certain amount of abuse, dropping, etc without impairing their function. I would endorse their purchase by anyone with a hearing loss problem. They compare favorablywith much more expensive units.

   It arrived earlier than I expected, well packaged and in it's own nice case. It felt extremely solid and well made. The instructions are simple and I DO mean simple and easy to follow. I put it on my mom's ear on the lowest volume setting that was the default right out of the box. She was instantly amazed. She could hear me speaking in a normal voice even from another room which hadn't been possible in years but best of all she could hear clearly and at a normal volume her TV and her beloved music. I would love to send our thanks and appreciation to this company for making an affordable and wonderful product. I will be telling everyone I know and see about this product. Just to see her smile when I was talking in a normal voice and just to not watch my windows shake when she tried to watch TV is worth gold ;)

   So it came this Afternoon. A little background-I went totally deaf at the age of 7. Did not start wearing a hearing aid until I was 12 or 13. I've had some very good ones and some really crappy ones-my latest came from Beltone, not a top-of-the-line model. I am on Disability due to vision problems, a stroke and having had complete Renal failure due to Diabetes since I was 22mos old. I'm 53 now so I've worn many hearing aids over the years.

   First hearing device and a keeper! For the money, I'm very happy with this device, I wear it in my right ear which is my bad ear and it works wonders. So well in fact that I turned the volume level of my TV down from 24 to level 14. I can also now hear the wife talking which may or may not be a good thing. Oh well, it does have a volume control. When I first put it in my ear, it did whistle a lot. That was solved by changing to the largest ear bud. Seems like you need the proper seal between the ear bud and ear canal. It always seems to squeal when putting it on or removing it. That was an easy fix also. Have the unit turned off when putting it on or removing it. Here is a little trick I learned to test the battery. Just cup your hand and place it over your ear. If you get a squeal, the battery is good. If not. the battery needs replaced. By the way, it does take the 675 air cell battery which can be bought at quite a good price here at Amazon. I don't feel it is too large and feels good while I'm wearing it. I like this device so much that I ordered another one in silver directly from Britzgo's web site only because I wanted to order some extra ear buds as well. I will not be wearing both of them at once, I just wanted a spare! No you can't get extra tubing for this model but the way it's designed you should never have to replace the tubing. Yes, there is a very tiny bit of white noise in the unit but that doesn't bother me at all as you can hardly hear it. You must always keep in mind that you paid pocket change for this unit and not thousands of bucks. Many thanks to all the good folks at Britzgo!
