   I wanted to attach to the headboard of my bed and hang the phone over my face while laying down, the stem was not quite stiff enough and my phone is not that heavy. Bending the stem into an S or Z helped but made it too short. I told the seller this when I got one of those "hope you're happy, please review us emails" and is sending me a stiffer stem at no charge, he says the stiffer stem will soon be the new version of this. I was pleasantly surprised to get such good service, I have responded to the "review us" emails before and gotten no response.

   This phone stand is so great and useful. It makes hands free phone or videotaping work so convenient. I am using it for video calls, taping keyboard playing, making art videos, watching youtube craft videos, online classes etc... The clamp will open to just a bit over 3 inches, so it clams on most anywhere I want to use it. The gooseneck is a bit stiff but it is very strong. The stiffness makes it not flop over from the weight of the camera. I am using it with my iPhone 7plus and it fits perfectly.

   I use this clip-on cell phone holder for Facebook Live video demonstrations. It is fantastic! Prior to this I had been using a flexible tripod that drove me nuts. It was so hard to use. This is super easy to clamp onto a convenient location (in my case, a breakfast bar in my kitchen). The long flexible neck is hard to describe, but the flexibility has firmness - it takes a bit of doing to change the configuration of the neck, which is good, because there is ABSOLUTELY no chance of the neck shifting or collapsing - it truly holds tightly. It's easy to clamp the cell phone holder to my iPhone 7 Plus. I am SO glad I found this tool, because it has made my life easier! Highly recommended!

   This is a great gadget. It comes in three parts with clear directions printed on the back of the box. There's a threaded plastic nut on one of the grip arms. Just slide that over the ball at the end of the flexible part and screw the grip on tight. See my first picture to show how it goes.Once in place you just squeeze the clamp at the back of the to put a phone in place. It works perfectly with my iPhone 7 Plus. The part that clamps to your desk or table is lined, so there's no danger of scraping it. I have it clamped to my cubicle desk which is about 1.5 inches thick (3.2 cm) and it's fine.The flexible arm itself is very substantial, so you need to work a bit to move it. There is some springiness to the arm, as they mention in the description, but I can see if a call or text comes in and click on the screen to open it.    Have been using this mount for a few weeks now. It holds my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with a ZeroLemon 10,000mah expanded battery on it. The clips barely reach to the front edge of the phone with this expanded battery (3/4 inch thick) when in the clip. It does droop a little holding this phone, as with the expanded battery, it is pretty heavy, but I have not worried that it was going to drop the phone or anything. I do have it holding the phone horizontal and against something, so that it is more stable for tapping the screen, but it is doing a great job holding the phone for me!!

   I love my cell phone holder! It's great for improving your posture if you've grown tired of stiff necks. The clamp works well and I haven't had trouble with it. I have an lg stylo phone with a case and the holder works with it well. My husband prefers to take his case off as it can cause the holder to shake when he touches the phone. This isn't really a problem for me most likely because I have a softer touch when handling the phone. The neck also works great and even has a joint so you can angle your phone how you want. I will most likely be getting more of these as little gifts especially since they're universal.

   The phone holder works well with my Nexus 5x, I can't really imagine it having any problems holding any phone, but it isn't big enough for even small tablets. I had some problems clamping it to my headboard, because my headboard is painted and has a smooth finish, and the arm that holds the phone is so stiff, it isn't able to get a strong grip and tends to move around. If I tighten it too much it might break the plastic, and since it is lose enough to move around it damaged the cheap paint on my Ikea bed. All of these problems can be fixed by drilling a 1" hole in the headboard and mounting it through that hole. It is definitely wort taking 5 minutes and doing that, because now it works perfectly and there really are no parts under enough stress to break.

   This phone holder works very well. There is a large padded clip to hold your phone that is strong yet easy to operate. It holds my Moto g4 with a case on with no problem. The clip has space in the middle so that it doesn't press the power or volume button the side of the phone. The clamp to hold it on the bed/table/desk screws on and is made of sturdy plastic. It holds a flat surface well, it would not work on a table or desk with a lip or an apron. The surface it is being attached to also needs to be less than 2 3/4" thick. The bendy part it very strong, it is a little difficult to adjust, but that means it holds without moving, even if you bump into it lightly it just sproings back into place. Works on my headboard and on my desk. Useful little phone holder.
