   I like this massager, definitely catches you off guard when you first try it since it feels a little funny and unusual. A few seconds later and it feels good. I like to use it on the slow setting with the vibrations on. Some people have commented that their hair gets caught, that might be the case for extremely curly hair. My hair is on the curly side and has no problems though. The only problem is that when using it on yourself the handle feels a little weird. I kept wondering which side to hold it. It is not uncomfortable it's just not that ergonomic for myself. But that is my only critic. I am without a doubt keeping it ?

   After decades of super short hair, the pandemic made it impossible for me to get a haircut. I have been letting my hair grow since February (2020). It was very slow going. I had to relearn how to take care of longer hair, which is now primarily silver and white, plus there is so much new info about curly hair and porosity! ?? After watching a video about scalp massagers (they were all manual), I got this device in November 2020. The length of my hair was at the top of my neck. It is now (near the end of January 2021)) touching the top of my shoulders. I use this scalp massager almost every night with leave-in conditioner and oil for low porosity hair before I braid my hair and put on a satin cap. Is it helping my hair grow? I think so, but I have no scientific proof. Most important to me, the massager feels amazing�relaxing�on either speed! You can even use it with wet hair. I love this device so much that I purchased one for my sister after owning it for only 3 days. She loves it, too!

Just don't press too hard because it can hurt if you are tender-headed or if you get greedy like I did and use it back to back after it turns itself off ... don't do that. You'll be sore the next day. Use it as instructed and it's amazing. I didn't purchase this for hair growth so I didn't monitor that. I did it to help with headaches since going to get a massage wasn't an option with the massage places being closed. I still go get my massages now, but this works great for the bad headaches that come on in the evenings when I can't call my massage or physical therapist. Would buy again and actually bought another for a gift which was also loved by the recipient!

   I really like this product because it is rechargeable. It is the perfect weight and size to hold on your head without your hand getting tired. I have carpal tunnel and giving myself head massages can be annoying because applying pressure gets my hands and wrist tired very quickly. I have been using the massager on a daily basis at night. Apply a little bit of hair oil to your scalp and use the massager for 5-10 minutes making sure you cover all areas. It is relaxing. I do it while sitting in bed. I purchased one for myself and gave one away as a gift. I did not think it would work well but it does. Occasionally one of the rubber massage pieces has fallen out. I think it is because you can remove them to wash them if and when needed. Works great.
