   I got this yesterday, and my son asked me this morning if I would make him pancakes! I was happy to oblige so I could try my new kitchen gadget, and it did not disappoint! I LOVE it! I made the batter right in the container, and it has measurements on it, so I didn't even have to get out my measuring cups. The batter came out perfectly and easily, and when I stopped the flow, it immediate stopped! There was not one dribble of batter anywhere, and the pancakes turned out perfect!

   like most of you, i did some internet research trying to best suit my needs for one of these dispensers. reading all the good and bad reviews for each. I took my chance on ordering two of these at once and so far so good. i wanted to use them for baking cupcakes, not that any of us cant fill the cups with a spoon, spatuala or just pouring the batter and hoping for the best, but one of the reasons for buying was the cleanliness of it all. it is a very clean process now in pouring the batter = A+. no leaks, worked as easy with every squeeze of the trigger and once the weight of the batter was lighten by dispencing, i needed the spatuala to help the remaining out, but that was still cleaned than pouring from the bowl, so no complaints from me but take note both hands may be required. second purpose of purchase was to see if this will dispense chocolate into molds, which i will be testing out this weekend. mfr. does not state the use for it in that way, but i wanted to try this before buying a chocolate dispenser as well. so in attempts as being helpful as reviews were to me, i will update the chocolate test soon.

   This is so helpful! It holds enough batter for 24 cupcakes. You can see through the shield to see how much you're dispensing and get the exact amount you want. It feels sturdy in your hand and is really easy to clean! It's also easy to scrape the batter on the sides to the bottom so you get all the batter in your cups. The dispenser at the bottom does get a little messy sometimes but is easily wiped off with a paper towel so you can keep right on filling. This is far less messy than using a ziploc or frosting bag and way more precise. It's an all around great product and I will use for all future cupcake projects!

I mix my batter in a separate bowl and then pour it into the dispenser but once in the dispenser you can stir if needed. Making even, fluffy pancakes is easy now with this and has turned breakfast time into a blast for me (the cook) and has made cleanup a lot quicker too.

   First, this is fantastic for pancakes. On my first attempt, I mixed the pancake batter separately then transferred it to this unit to dispense - this worked great. But I also found that, for pancake and waffle applications, including batter from a box mix as well as home-made, this works equally well - with less clean-up - when just mixing the batter in the unit itself. I use a soft silicone spatula to mix everything to make sure I don't scratch or otherwise damage the plastic.
