I've always wanted one of these squeaky chickens but thought people would think I was a little nuts so I'm getting a puppy in just over 5 weeks, that way I don't have to answer awkward questions. The squeak is very loud compared to other squeaky toys and sounds a bit like a distressed duck, so I can't play with it while the neighbours are home because they're likely to call animal welfare on me. It feels robust but still pliable enough to get maximum squeak out of it quite easily. It looks undernourished for a chicken but given that it's made of latex I'm not sure that matters, though perfectionists may be rather disappointed. I'm sure my puppy will want one for himself when he spots it hidden under my bed.
