   Stupid light an manages to be acceptable comfort without bike shorts if you are in a sportier position for short rides. If you are more upright (more weight on seat) or dealing with bad roads you will want padded shorts for even short rides. I will keep this and a padded seat on two cheap carbon posts and swap depending on needs.

   When I first bought this seat I was just looking for an inexpensive light weight carbon seat for my road bike, so I wasn't too worried about strength. While seat comfort is a personal thing, this has hands down been the most comfortable seat I have ever used. I have been riding six years on cyclocross, road, and mtb. I now have this same seat on all three of my bikes. It is comfortable for a long time and the saddle is strong enough for all cyclocross racing and mtb racing. I can't recommend this saddle enough.

   I forgot how hard it can be to find a comfortable saddle. I tried out a few others before settling on this one. It is not the lightest, not the cheapest, but I find it comfortable, once you spend a ride stopping every mile or two to make fine adjustments. Once I got it adjusted right, it started to disappear underneath me. I would buy it again.
