This is my third Mangroomer shaver to date and I really enjoy using it to shave the hair on my back. I shave everything from my neck down, but just having nice, smooth, sexy, hairless skin all over except my back just wasn't an option for me. I started out with the original Mangroomer, then upgraded to the Mangroomer Lithium Max. The Max was damaged in transport (I didn't pack it properly in my suitcase and the head assembly broke) so I upgraded again to the Platinum Pro. I love the fact that this one has 3 heads (I love the extra wide and the foil body groomer heads in particular). I'm also glad that a storage bag for the shaver and its accessories is provided in the Platinum Pro set. Battery life is excellent and it doesn't take incredibly long to charge either. The extension arm works well, and the motor even seems quieter! The Mangroomer Platinum Pro is the best back shaver ever, and I highly recommend it to all of the manscapers out there!

I have only used the the Platinum Pro Mangroomer 3 times since I purchased it and can definetly tell you it is very easy to operate. It is undoubtably the Best device I have ever used for hard to reach "Back Hair". I have also used it on my arms and legs; it might get those areas a little too close, but my body hair grows out quite fast. I usually use it outdoors on my back deck since it is cordless; I like that I am not making a mess in the shower that way. There seems to be a significant battery storage as I am still on my first charge. If I was to list a dislike; it would be that the net in the Storage Bag which holds the other head attachments could be wider and snugger. When opening the storage bag; the alternate head attachments often fall out of the bag and onto the floor. This is minor and now I just open the bag over something soft like the bed. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I got the back hair gene. Not a bad case mind you, but enough that it makes me pretty self-conscious at the pool. This is my second Man Groomer. I bought the first one 5-6 years ago; the battery was still good, but the heads were no longer sharp and were snagging rather than smoothly cutting. Rather than buy new heads, I just bought the whole new system. I really like the extra wide head to get the first pass through, and then the foil head to make it smooth. The adjustable arm and extension make the task of shaving your back much easier. There's still some gymnastics and a mirror needed, but it's much easier than other methods. Highly recommend.

I've had it for a few months now. Used it 3 times. Works fine. it easily trims hair (unlike some of these dopey reviews say), and didn't cause any skin irritation at all. The reviews that say this trimmer cut their skin are full of it. I just don't see how that could be the case unless the user is a total knucklehead and completely uncoordinated. I didn't have to apply excessive pressure or trim multiple times. I think most of the negative reviews about this item are bogus.

Easy to use, locks in place. I had the original Mangroomer for 10 years and it still kinda works, I just wanted a new one to do the job. This upgrade has locking feature which my only complaint from the original. Also it is wider which is nice. It doesn't scrape. It feels comfortable. Actually it's more comfortable feeling than the traditional hair trimmers.

My original Mangroomer back shaver cracked after many years of continuous service. I replaced it with the mangroomer platinum pro and my back hair removal problems got even better. The new system added the flex neck which would have saved me from replacing my old unit since that's where it cracked. They also added 2 extra heads which can be switched out to assist in removing the hair down to skin level. The wider head is amazing and covers so much more area compared to the original size head on my old unit plus you can even replace the shaving heads now, something also not available before. Kudos Mangroomer you have made a great product incredible with your changes and additions. It is now perfect.

I am a VERY hairy guy and I have been buying dozens of hair grooming and hair removal products for the thick black hair on my body. I was primarily looking for a body razor instead of a back razor but I decided to try this out as it also works for the rest of your body. The instructions were clear on a little card that was sent but there was a HUGE instruction manual that came with it. I didn't think it was that difficult to use so I decided to figure out how to use it myself. The blade that came attached on the razor was ok for removing my thick hair at first. After having some trouble getting certain thick hair off, I was able to get it off with a slow back and forth shaving motion. I'm a guy who likes to shave my entire body and make sure no hair stands out. So essentially, I needed a clean shave and the card that came with it said to use the foil head razor to get the shorter hairs out. I was SHOCKED at how easy it was to get the remaining hair off once I shifted to the foil head. I have never used a foil head before so that was part of the excitement as I saw how efficient it was at removing short tiny hairs to make my skin look completely hair-free and smooth. The battery life on the product was even more incredible. I was able to do a near full-body shave with this product right out of the package. I can't even explain to you how long that is as I haven't shaved my body in over 6 months and again, I'm a VERY HAIRY guy. I think this is honestly one of the best products I've ever bought from Amazon. The price is definitely worth the experience that I had using this product. In fact, I think this item is a STEAL for the price it's displayed for. 3 razor blades, a backshaver, incredible battery life, and an extended arm hinge for $50? I have had no regrets since purchasing this item.

So after much research, debating, and second guessing, I finally decided and this shaver and I'm so glad I did. This shaver is just plainly awesome. I don't have sensitive skin but the blade felt so soft, i doubt it could irritate anyones skin. Very easy to use and reached my entire back with ease (I'm 6'2" 275, so I have a pretty wide back and ain't that flexible.) I would recommend this shave to anyone.
