I was so pleasantly surprised when this magical device worked from the very first time I used it!! I purchased a different brand previously that didn't work at all. But I was desperate and came across this one with better reviews and I decided to give it a try. It has been a lifesaver. I have a well behaved goldendoodle but when he gets too excited and focused on something that he wants he goes for it, and doesn't listen to me. But this gets his attention quickly. I have also had many different kinds of foster dogs in and out of our home, and this has worked well with many of them! I'm VERY VERY HAPPY to have this device and might even get a backup just incase.

It has a light feature, a “beep” feature, and the 3 different tones. I like that it had different tones because dogs will become “immune” to the different noises over time. Small, lightweight, and comes with a wrist strap.

over two years I've had four of this type of bark control, that have worked once or twice, and then didn't bother her any more. i was hesitant about another one, but since it wasn't expensive, i tried it. it works, she most certainly does not like this unit. you can change the tone on the side to three different ones if the dog gets use to it. but i haven't had to do that. she is learning fast. i don't know how long the the battery life is yet, so i haven't rated battery life.

It only took a couple of times of using it and she has totally stopped with just an occasional command of “stop” to remind her to be quiet. I also took this to my daughter’s house because she has a dog that jumps up on visitors it worked just as effectively for that. She has now purchased her own. I highly recommend this device.
