I can’t speak for its longevity but seems pretty awesome. Definitely NOT child proof and seems like it could break easily if dropped. Just be sure to keep it out if child’s reach. As you can see in the pic it is really vibrant! The box it comes in has Chinese writing all over it. Not sure that would bother anyone but thought I’d mention it. My daughter has the “Milton” rainbow and this Chinese “generic” one is way better!

While this product is plastic and kind of cheap looking, it is also small and sleek and makes a rainbow that has surprisingly intense colors and brightness for its size and the fact it’s running off batteries (I did not buy an adapter, while it doesn’t come with one the instructions include what type is compatible). My son asked for a rainbow for Christmas and this was a perfect solution. It shuts off quickly, but this conserves batteries. I’d like it to stay on a bit longer or have the option of more than one choice of time before it automatically shuts off. We have only had it a few days so I can’t speak to longevity, but given its low price I think this is not as much of a concern as a higher priced item would be.
