   I have had knee pain for years, and now as I'm getting older it's much more frequent. I've tried other knee braces but decided to try a copper top type. This works so much better at pain relief than the basic knee sleeves. I wear it every day and it does seem to hold up for a while. Initially it smells menthol a for a day or so and then I can never smell menthol again. So if you're worried about the smell, don't be concerned.

   It's better than expected, fit is strong and really keeps your knee solid. I've have two surgeries and as I age , the knee gets a little loose and this will keep it together.Stays in place all day. It can get a little tight on the upper thigh if sitting for long durations.

   So I honestly didn't know what exactly to expect; I've purchased another sleeve in the past but never had any other experience prior to, so I'll do a comparison to that one.I did want to start off by saying that the menthol is pretty evident, you can smell it on the sleeve and the box it comes in. As soon as I slipped them on (I bought a pair) the scent was also on my hands, so I was careful to wash them afterward so I didn't have any mishaps with my eyes. After wearing them for my first run, I could feel the cooling effects afterward; nothing major, but very noticeable that there was a nice, even cooling sensation along the sleeve coverage area. So far only used them twice, but both times I've felt the cooling so that's as far as I can attest to in terms of functionality there.Next, in terms of sizing, I put them on and felt them to be a bit tight even though I did measure my knees and selected the size according to their sizing chart, but the good thing is that these never slid up or down due to the anti slip band on the top end of the sleeve. I didn't feel any lack of circulation due to the tightness of the sleeves, so I guess maybe their chart is that way for a reason, but I do also have slightly “fatter” thighs than calves (in my opinion) so hard to say for sure.All in all though, I'm impressed, the quality feels solid and due to knees not feeling the greatest, these give me a bit more confidence in running while hopefully avoiding any serious injuries or long term damage.

It went on easily and was comfortable throughout the day. The added menthol benefit was perfect. It did not smell overpowering at all. After a few days I am no longer using it, but will have it on hand for any further need.
