   I've read several reviews of this product where people say they can't get it to harden under the lights and it stays sticky and doesn't dry completely. The trick is to wet a small piece of tissue with rubbing alcohol and wipe over the nail after 2-3 minutes under the lamp. The alcohol will make the gel ice hard, smooth and shiny.

You need to know how to sand and prepare the nail for application (you will also need an adhesive to apply) and also sand the new gel before applying color polish. Tutorials and demonstrations can be found on YouTube.
