This phone mount was easy to install and it can be very low profile. The mount charge my phone as soon as it comes in contact with it. Keep an eye on your battery charge as it does keep a blue light on even when the motorcycle is off. I took my bike to work and it started right up hours later, but is a bit concerning if it does take juice from the battery. Not sure is I'm supposed to turn it off once I get off the bike, but I will do a bit more reach on it and update this post.

Solidly built, I would even say the bar mount and arm included are higher quality than the "real" RAM mounts I already own. As another reviewer noted, the only ding I would give it is it would be nice if the center of the mount was less massive to allow use of the camera on the back of my phone. Overall, if this mount ticks all the boxes for you like it did for me, buy it, it's a great piece of kit!

Installed this last week and rode 300 miles with it today. Flawless. Held my iPhone 12 Pro and charged it the whole day. The phone did not overheat like it did before in the glove box. I installed it with the ram ball and direct wired it to a spare switched plug on the harness of my ST1300. It only took 20 minutes to install and configure. I really like how my phone is now close to my left hand. This makes it easy to see as a nav aid and easy to control. I am very happy with this. You should know it did not work with my kickstand case. However, there was plenty of room when I switched to a standard bumper case. It held it securely all day. Well done!
