Even though hard-wired devices can be more reliable and more effective, I had been looking for battery and/or solar powered camera with WiFi capability for ease of installation. This camera provides exactly that! I used the bracket provided to mount it to the wall as the double-side sticky tape would not have held well on stucco. It's ability to detect motion is good (with in-app notifications) and plus side is that my street is not incredibly busy leading to a longer battery life. I have tested the quality of the camera during the day and night and both have been satisfactory to sue. The only down side is that a SD card is not provided, but cloud storage is available for $3/month and all video clips can be saved!
