It lasted 2 weeks without needing to be charged, and we used it every day on the medium setting. It's nice to have romantic lighting at the dinner table. We like turning it on and off.

   Does come with the cable needed to charge, but bring your own plug. I had a 2 A charger that did the trick. Indeed the white & gold version doesn't have the charging indicator (at least at the time of this writing). That'd be a nice add. But at 4000 mAh I don't expect to need to charge it often since using it at the lower settings usually. So I just plugged it in and let it charge for a few hours. (Note, it didn't seem to come with any charge. At least mine didn't respond until I plugged it in.)

   So glad I purchased this light. It's a really pretty design and I use it for different purposes. It has 4 settings, controlled by the touch of the finger. Sometimes I'll sleep with it on the lowest setting or use it for more lighting whenever needed. I initially purchased it to use if the electricity goes out but have used it for much more than that.

   I got this to use when I get up in the middle of the night so I don't disturb my housemate. It does the job perfectly! The dimmest setting is bright enough to see my way around, while the brightest is good for reading. The two settings in between are good mood lighting for late night, and cover the whole room. And the lantern design is just fun to carry, like a lighthouse keeper of old.

   Bought the white lantern for a family camping trip, so we could hang this in both our dining canopy after sunset and in our tents at night. This lantern was a big hit with all 5 of the members of my camping party! I wanted the brass lantern but it was not available when I went to order and got the white. The lantern cleans easily and the 4-stage touch dimming feature suits multiple lighting scenarios, including a trip down the trail to the latrine at night.    I bought this lamp because of its low light to bright settings in order to wake up at night and feed my baby without using a bright light that would make it hard to fall back asleep. I would use this lamp on the lowest brightness and with one charge it would last about 3-4 nights. To turn the lamp on you also just have to tap the little bronze knob at the top, so in the dark, there's not need to look for buttons or switches. This lamp was a huge life saver for us!

   Very attractive portable lantern! What I like: the looks, which are sleek and elegant; the touch control on top; the four brightness options; the USB C charging, which makes it useful for the 21st century; the charging indicator in the back (only on the nickel version, but buy it for that reason alone). What I don't love: it doesn't charge with a regular USB C charger (such as one you'll use for a Pixel phone), but only with the slower, less powerful A to C cables and charger. What I don't know: how long the battery life is. But so far, me like!

   I love this little lamp! Its the perfect size, holds a very long charge, and it is an adorable lantern that fits well into a non-rustic decor. My husband goes to bed really early and this lamp allows me to find my way into our bed without waking him or stepping on the dog! I absolutely love it! I've had it for almost a year now and it holds a really long charge...admittedly, I'm not using it as a reading light most of the time, but it lasts for weeks at my usage. Even when I have used it as a reading bedside lamp it lasts long + the light has multiple brightness settings so I can use it without keeping my husband awake. Off to buy another for our guest room because one can never be without storm lighting!

   We suffer many electricity outages so I bought different lanterns for everyone to use. I'm looking for my favorite product. out of the many lanterns I bought, this is by far the best looking one. It is sturdy, and sleek. It puts off a warm light and has 4 light modes. I haven't had a chance to see how long it will last, but thusfar is my nicest. I would not use this to carry around a campsite as it is very nice. This is the one to set on the table. The only thing I do no like is that there are no charge lights to let you know if it is fully charged. You just charge it for 8 hours and put it up for storing. The other thing - turning it on wasn't intuitive. Once I figured it out it is nice. It is a touch lantern - the nob on the top of the lantern, lightly touch it and it comes on. Touch it 3 more times and it brightens each tap. Then it will turn off on the last tap. You will not be disappointed. Out of 4 lanterns it is my favorite soft light.
