Okay so I've been on a decor binge lately. I was throwing a blacklight party and wanted to create perfect ambiance. When I ran across this little thing I knew I had to give it a go. Firstly, I was delighted and the flowtation of the jellyfish. When you plug it in there's a little pump that helps them move around but you wouldn't know it unless you set it up. The atmosphere it created was fantastic. Perfect for my blacklight party. I almost wish they had a mega size version of this. Would buy that in a heartbeat!

Easy to set up...I took one reviewers advice and got the jellyfish wet before putting them in the water to avoid bubbles and I got none. It makes no noise at ALL and is amazingly silent. It really adds great ambiance to our family room. My only complaint, and this is on amazon NOT the manufacturer, is that when it was shipped to us they literally slapped a label on the box and sent it. Didn't pack it, didn't even tape it up! Just sent it. Lucky for us it arrived in one piece and with everything still in the box. Come on amazon, this thing wasn't cheap, clean it up!

We set it up in front of a mirror on hutch so even though only 2 squid in there it appears like more! Lamp is just what I was expecting. Instructions was quick and easy. Be careful and use distilled water and add just the right amount of liquid dishwasher detergent soap. I accidently added a little too much of soap and in my tank it look like it was cloudy but it was just the soap mixed in with the water, it isn't too distracting but still noticeable when the lamp was on. I was concerned when first putting the jellyfish in the tank that the jellyfish would stay to the top of the tank but after ten minutes the jellyfish were moving everywhere in the tank. I used a chopstick to push the jellyfish down far into the tank so be sure to use something similar instead of using your hand, it's much easier. It's very cool and it looks just like real jellyfish. The only downside to this lamp is that it's a little pricey but still happy with my purchase. Would buy it again.

Pricey and difficult to maintain, i stumbled across these on Amazon. Iâ€™m a research kind of guy, and research I did and most of these types of tanks got poor reviews except this one for the most part. So I tried it and Iâ€™m seriously impressed. Really easy to set up with great instructions, VERY REALISTIC and beautiful. Now Iâ€™m no jellyfish expert so when I say realistic, itâ€™s my eyes and my brain making that statement. They are most vibrant and colorful under the blue light setting and the color they emit kind of reminds me of those felt carnival posters that pop neon colors under a black light from the 80â€™s. In a dark room they are quite soothing. The movements they make and the realism is the home run here. Just incredible!! Bravo and well done. Absolutely nothing bad to report here with them going on every night now for the last 2 weeks.
