The net is light weight and easy to move.One word of caution: if you have a cat or dog that likes to chase balls, the could bump this and have it snap off the table and potentially into them. My cat did have it snap off toward him, however he was able to move out of the way before it crashed into him.

We love this set! After starting to play table tennis at our community center we wanted to be able to practice at home. The net sets up easily and is adjustable for tables of varied width and depth. The paddles have wooden handles, making them actually nicer than the all plastic ones we are sometimes given at the community center. Some reviewers have complained about the balls, but ours seem fine. It all packs away easily in the net bag provided.We are primarily using the set on an extra dining room table we have, which is much smaller than a normal sized ping pong table, but I actually enjoy the challenge of having to adjust my game. If you have a larger table of course that would not be necessary. For the price this set can't be beat.

They set it up on the kitchen table and wear themselves out. It is especially nice when it is raining, or in the winter time when it is too cold to play outside... they can do something active inside, and get out a little of their energy. One of the best things about it is that you can put it back into the little carrying bag that comes with it. A lot of children toys take it up a lot of space, but this one stores away very tidily. The quality is also very good – we have had no problem retracting the net and my sons and their friends really use it a lot and are definitely not gentle with it.

It fits perfect on our dining room table and it's a great way to stay active indoors on those days where you can't get outside due to bad weather.
