This vacuum worked great for our small pool. I read reviews that said the sand, etc went through the net bag included. I simply added a sock first and then the net bag. The sock caught all the sand and dirt but still allowed the water to flow through. Simply turn the sock inside out and rinse sand out and use again. Very pleased and beats the $60 battery one we had before. That one used 6 size D batteries that we were constantly replacing.

Do you have to be careful with this item where the female end of a heavy hose (remember it will be filled with water which is heavy; 1 gal of water weighs ~8.5 lbs) meets the male connector of the vacuum? 100%. Otherwise the weight of the hose and water will cause the male connector to snap & break on you almost instantly. But just hold the hose and pole together with one hand near this point and you will be fine.

The suction power is fine. The netting is a fine mesh so it traps fine particles like sand. It's easy to assemble. And it's priced right. Just be careful when operating, as the plastic is cheap (what do you expect for the price), and it's a very good deal.

The little orange connector that screws onto a garden hose does NOT spray until you snap it onto the device (when you're READY). The brush-base works well, with good suction. I added a nylon knee sock for finer filtration and it worked well. Quiet, no battery to recharge, and it adds makeup water to help with daily evaporation. You need a hose that can go the length of your pool. Surprisingly cost effective for something that works so well in a swimming pool!

Honestly when I opened up the package I was like this is not gonna work. I put it together so easily when in the pool with it and it works fantastic. It picked up so much cement out of my pool for this little thing was absolutely great. Would recommend to anyone trying to get debris out of the pool. Mine is an inground pool.

This vacuum works much better than I thought it would. Quickly picks up all that small stuff in the crevices and bottom of pool. Gave it a 4 because it took forever to arrive, hard to keep brush attached to the top part - it does not screw on or click on, just hard plastic sliding over smaller tube of hard plastic. I had no trouble at all attaching the hose - the adapter clicks right on. Unable to find a pole to fit this late in season but the short handle is easy to use in my 12 ft 30 in pool. Perfect for my 9 yo grandson to crawl around the pool. I'm glad it finally came and I'll keep looking for a pole.
