This worked really well for me because 5 minutes is way too long to toast, at least for me. So what I do is just cook the sausage for 5 minutes. When it's done, I add the cake and cook it all in a minute and a half. Work out great. Someone also commented that they can't cook dumpling-sized sausages. I don't have this problem. If it's helpful, I've used it!
