   Some have mentioned problems with balloons or hot dogs getting fat and getting stuck in the basket. I didn't have that problem at all. It comes with a set of metal tongs that you will definitely need to take them out of the basket as it will get very hot after cooking. I used angus beef sausages from ball park, they seemed full as usual, not stuck in the basket at all.

It works better if you set it to a lower setting, put the sausages and dumplings together at first - maybe 3... let it cook, then take the buns out, should bake at the right time. that point, then rotate it. up to 5 and cook the sausage alone.

There's a tray that slides out of the bottom, like most toasters, and you can wash that tray, too.    I noticed the first two times, it was smoking. The label on the top of the device said this and I just ran it twice with nothing in it, and it smoked... since then it hasn't. You'll also smell burning plastic the first two times, but I didn't see any damage to the device inside or out or any melted plastic. great product
