I combine this with the Dahle 10683 Vantage Cutting Mat, 24" x 36" and it's perfect for spacing! I also bought an iphone tripod and this fits perfectly into it (I got a tripod that fits a iphone 5s) for when I need the + lines. I assume it would probably work just as well for those looking to project lines on to walls. The tape measurer has also come in handy around the house... used it several times today actually. I am loving this product and for a great price tag too. I was thinking about buying a sliderwriter but made a better version using this, the dahle mat, and an iphone tripod.

When I saw that it was a tape measure, level and had a laser I was excited. Especially for the price. It seemed like the perfect size as well since I mainly wanted it to hang pictures properly. When I opened the box I was very surprised to find that it came with EXTRA watch batteries for the laser and also the small screwdriver you need to open the battery compartment. Not to mention the completely adorable card encouraging you to leave feedback. So here I am leaving my very happy feedback. The tape measure is built into the bottom and works great. The laser is a very nice quality as well.

WOW!! I just received this and taking it out of the package I was impressed. It is a very sturdy product and packaged with extra batteries and a screwdriver to change the batteries with. For a company to put this much thought into their packaging I am sure this will be a wonderful product to use. I have turned it on and shown pictures here of the laser in a bright room from 32 inches. The laser line from 32 inches is plenty bright enough and measures about the same distance up and down and across that the laser is from the wall (32 inches). For this price, you cant go wrong.

So I got my latter and put my level on top of it getting ready to start my project. Now remember it’s probably been 15 minutes of since opening it, well I went to get my tools and came back to find the level on the floor. I thought everything was fine but I did hear a part loose inside the level. So I turned it on and the laser pointer was working. After looking in further the plastic broke and I had no use for it after that. I was so disappointed, word to wise just be careful with this item. Great product and design, just bad luck for me!

He said he would probably never use it. 2 days later, he was using it in his shop and has yet to misplace it. I have borrowed it a couple of times because it's small and easy to use. I love that it's basically an all in one and super compact. The laser level is great. Once you get about 10' away the line gets a little fuzzier, but it's still straight. He uses it to hang stuff on the walls and build shelves. It's the one tool he always puts away so he can find it later.

I just got this and to be fair it's a pretty useful tool,, of course me being a bit of a Geek (Metrologist) I had to see if the laser was calibrated , I compared it to a Bosch self leveling Laser and it was off.. but the best part is that unlike other more expensive items " it is adjustable " that made all the difference .. the tape measure I can do without as I have too many of those around the shop already but hey .. it's inexpensive , looks pretty durable , "adjustable" laser and won't weigh down the nail apron .. nice tool !!!!

No dislikes at all. The instrument is accurately calibrated. A few reviewers said there were no instructions but I did receive them -- thankfully, as they explained how to change the laser patterns by simply flipping three positions with your finger on a tab near the lens. Trying to turn the lens with a screwdriver is NOT the way to change the laser patterns. I used it to determine/monitor a proper water drain slope/degree when I repaired my patio floor and replacing the gutter. If I had a weak laser projection on a rough/dark surface, I simply taped a piece of white copy paper on the inspection area to increase laser reflection/brightness.
