It's ceramic and glides smoothly through hair. A bit slippery to grab hair when rolling it up to the root. The original brush will get your hair dry in a pinch but this brush adds details to your layered pieces and adds more volume to the root. It gets hot and smoky like the original, so be mindful. 10/10 Definitely recommend!
