I found one of these at a thrift store, and wore it until it started falling apart. I searched Amazon until I found this model, ordered an XL (I would normally order a large) and it's great. I primarily wear it as a layer under my workout clothing, but it also makes an excellent, lightweight layer under my dress and casual shirts. I don't have the kind of build that I would ever be tempted to wear this without something over it, but I will say that it's also proven to be an excellent shirt for heated yoga classes. The buff guys take off their shirts... I spare everyone and wear this. It breathes easily, moves with me, and doesn't ride up awkwardly during inverted poses. Expensive or not, I'll be ordering a couple more.

This is an awesome shirt. It is very comfortable and it doesn't roll up over the more generous waist areas...instead it is snug and makes the tummy look firmer. It is not tight or uncomfortable. The extra large seemed right on true to size. I was worried that I should go a size up but I didn't, and this was perfect. I was specifically interested in this for a trip where I was very limited with the weight of the baggage. This is as light as can be, but it is by no means flimsy. I will buy more.

I decided to eliminate cotton shirts because although they were washed weekly with good soap et al., they, after a few months of wear developed a lingering odor under the arms. Figured the poly would do a better job repelling slight odors. I have been wearing UA boxer briefs for almost 6 years, and no odor present, and they last a really really long time. These shirts also do not have a logo above the waist, so nothing to show through white dress shirts. Take advice already given, go one size up and you'll be a happy customer.

I did not know what to think about this shirt at first, ordinarily I would have bought a medium but after reading reviews I went with a large. Even the large was incredibly tight on me! But now it is my favorite running shirt, I swear I run faster while wearing this shirt. When you are suddenly aware that what you are wearing leaves nothing to the imagination, you tighten the abs and pull in the lower back a little more, something that you should do anyway! Don't wear this if you are at all self-conscious, if you want a form-fitting shirt that wicks away sweat and motivates you to keep working hard so you look decent in this shirt, then buy it. And maybe get a size bigger than you would think.

I like the look of it, and the underarmor logo on it is pretty nice looking.This is the first type of this shirt that I purchased and would gladly buy more. I haven't yet washed it, as I just received wore it. But I can imagine something like this won't survive in the dryer, at least on high heat.I do plan on washing it by hand and air drying it.The fit is true. I wear an XL for my regular shirts, but this type of thing, you wear a little tighter so I ordered a Large. I am super happy with it. I have heard they are tough to upkeep with washing and drying, so we'll see how that ends up.

I still have a little moob left that I'm still conscious about. This shirt takes care of that for me and is a joy to wear. I've tried all the cheaper ones/brands and NONE of them have completely satisfied me, from the material, to the collar, to the length. Everything is just right with these shirts. I'm done looking around for better deals on cheaper compression shirts. Bite the bullet and pay the price, you will be doing yourself a favor.

Not knowing what in the world to wear under a stab vest, I read about it and got five of these some time ago and am quite pleased. So today, I am ordering five more and now I won't have to do laundry every single weekend. This material works quite well. In fact, sometimes too well. In an air conditioned environment, it feels kind of chilly right at the edge of my body armor. The antimicrobial properties are impressive. By the end of the day when I get home, I take my vest off and the inside is wet but the outside is bone dry, so I set the wet side upwards to dry and I can wear the same vest carrier for up to a week. The heatgear itself is also soaking wet and I could not imagine wearing it again without washing it. Initially I got five vest carriers and was washing them every day because I was afraid they were going to get nasty. As long as the body armor itself is cleaned once a week, there is usually no need to change the carrier more than once or twice a week. Just like coldgear lets me go to work comfortably without a jacket in the winter, the heatgear lets me walk around at a normal pace with the stab vest on in the summer.

I just got this shirt yesterday, and I'm currently ordering one for a friend.Regarding everyone saying to size up, that's a rather subjective statement with respect to your size. I'm not a large person, with 14inch arms, a 32 inch waist, and a 45 or so inch chest. That's not a big guy by any means. I ordered a large, and it fits great. I have room for my arms to grow several more inches, and a ton of room for my chest. That being said, as long as you're not a person with oddly oversized arms you wouldn't necessarily need to size up. It's a COMPRESSION shirt, therefore it's meant to be rather tight. I wore it for the first time tonight, ran in to a friend, and she even commented on how good I looked.I hope this helps at least a few people. I didn't even look at the sizing chart since I stick to large shirts unless they're button downs. Just keep in mind that it's a tight fit, and if you have a large stomach, it won't tuck it in by any means, however, if you don't have much body fat, you're gonna look awesome!
