And you do not need to visit an audiologist or have these adjusted, because they come with all of the controls you need. They are sturdier than the more expensive hearing aids and also come in a very protective case - one for each hearing aid. Yes, even the cases are superior to the more expensive hearing aid cases!

I sent them an email on Saturday, not expecting any reply until Monday, however They not only responded, but I could tell from the reply that an actual person answered! She definitely hears so much more now. I can talk to her in a normal volume without shouting. She catches every word. She can watch TV again without having it blasting.    It took me a few weeks at first to get used to it. Actually, I only wear one for my left ear. I've lost too much hearing in my right ear for one to help. One complaint I read about before I ordered is that they don't cancel out much background noise. That's true, but it's been worth my while to learn to live with some background noise to be able to hear other things again... like birds singing or what women with high-pitched voices are saying.

   I've been using these Invisible Hearing Aid Set amplifiers for two years now, and lost one last week. I'm pretty sure that it popped out of my ear when I pulled off my Covid mask while getting in my car at a gas station. I drove off and was long gone. Then later...Yikes! I didn't bring a spare with me. I had a spare at home, but I was out of state. In fact, I had three spares at home. That won't happen again. One of those has a permanent home in my glove box. Being half deaf sucks, and being able to at least half hear is wonderful. I will not go anywhere without a spare again.

   I originally ordered these hearing aids thinking I would need one for each ear. When they arrived, I first tried one in my good ear and found that was all that I needed since I was hearing the TV and people just fine. I decided to keep the other aid as a spare in case the one stopped working. The controls are difficult to set if you're wearing it, but I set it up before I wear it and that seems to work fine.

   I made the mistake of beginning on the mid-level of volume, and my dog barked next to me and made me jump out of my chair! So, follow the directions and start on the lowest level. Most people with moderate to severe hearing problems will need to bump the volume up (slowly) by two or three notches at least to achieve optimal hearing. One final point: you can eavesdrop on conversations dozens of yards away if your volume is set nearer the top level. I'm not making any suggestions, just stating a fact.
