So ill come out and admit I use this as a "personal" massager and it is better than anything else I have ever used. It is bulky but that doesn't matter to me or my partner. He uses it as was intended and it does the trick for that too. Its great at getting the knots out of your back and shoulder and even better at things it wasn't intended for. There are 2 speeds though the high speed is very high intensity and I would not recommend for your intimate regions. Mine has lasted 4 years now and my last one lasted about 10. The pieces come off so they are very easy to clean. This can be loud but if you move the tip you are using around you can usually get it to be a little more quiet however if you need to be discreet run a fan while in use and no one will know. I will buy a new one and would recommend this for its intended uses as well as the unintended one.

The replacement is a newer model, which is dark gray on top and light gray on the bottom. It also has a really nice cord restraint. It comes with a new 4-finger tip, which I really like, and is actually quieter than the smaller tips. I am amazed that the motor can handle the sideways forces on it from the larger tip. For me, the weight is important, because I use it a lot. I use the Deep Tissue Percussion Massager for the big muscles, and that is the heaviest. They also make a medium weight, which I haven't tried yet. Thank you, Wahl, for continuing to improve the tools so many of us rely on for pain relief.
