I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loves it! She has spent quite a bit of time writing on both the whiteboard and chalkboard. She was a little confused about some of the magnets, as they are more complex than just a head, torso with arms, and legs. But the toy came with a booklet that gave examples of how to make people and she was able to catch on quickly. The only improvement I would suggest is to figure out a way to make the box close securely. The lid just rests on top of the box with no latching mechanism. Not a deal breaker for us, but a latching box would make it more portable.
