   This is a pretty okay helmet. The folding mechanism is slick and fits into my bag well, better than other styles of folding helmet would. For comfort it's pretty good, of course not as padded as a regular helmet. The thing that drives me crazy is the strap adjusters don't lock into place, and this leads to the straps getting devilishly twisted. This is a pain and if they fixed this the helmet would be awesome.

   This helmet is fantastic! I live in Brooklyn and space is at a premium so any opportunity to have something take up less room is well appreciated. I've been using it on Citi Bike rides and it is comfortable and easy to open and close. I had to change the padding around and used the extra thick pads on the sides for a comfortable fit but now it's perfect. The folding feature is great and fits into my backpack after a ride so I don't have a helmet clunking around with me. The helmet feels well built and sturdy when opened and the closing mechanism is fun to play with. Definitely recommend!

   I had a minor bike accident while not wearing a helmet one day and I realized, that's when I need to start taking my helmet with me if I know I'm going to use a bike. Unfortunately, I did not always take the one I had already had with me as I mostly use the bike share system in my city, because it's just too big and wouldn't fit anywhere. But this incident had me looking for a foldable helmet, and I knew there were several. FEND was exactly what I was looking for. It folds to a shape which you can fit into most backpacks easily. The build quality is very sturdy and exactly what I'd expect out of a helmet. I've even tested it by banging it on the wall several times, and there was not a single trace. It's very light, and stylish! And it's one of the few foldable helmets with ventilation so your head doesn't sweat. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase!
